I get asked that question quite often. From friends, from candidates and sometimes even from customers. Logical, too, because “working at a secondment agency” still sounds a bit vague to many people. So let me just say it as I experience it myself.
No day is the same
What I like about working at Motivz is that no two days are the same. One day you are busy with an intake with a customer, the next day you help a candidate who gets stuck in his current job take a new step. In between, you spar with colleagues, arrange practical matters and are constantly switching gears.
The pace is fast. You have to lie that down. But that's what makes it fun. You're not here to wait, you're here to build.
A lot of freedom, a lot of responsibility
At Motivz, you get a lot of freedom in how you do your work. No one looks over your shoulder all the time. At the same time, this also involves responsibility. You are expected to think for yourself, make choices and take ownership.
That took some getting used to at first, but now I wouldn't want anything else. You really feel that trust is being expressed in you and that motivates.
Working together feels natural here
What surprised me personally is how strong the team spirit is. You celebrate successes together and if something goes wrong, you are not alone. Colleagues help each other, give honest feedback and contribute ideas.
It is not forced fun. It's just normal to help each other out. You notice that in the small things: switch quickly, visit each other and say things immediately.
You're really getting better here.
Working at Motivz has made me stronger commercially and personally. You learn to communicate better, listen more closely and advise more clearly. Not only towards customers, but also towards candidates and colleagues.
Development is not imposed here, but it is stimulated. If you show that you want to grow, you also get the space to do that.
It's not always easy and that's fine
Let me also be honest: sometimes it's just hard work. There are targets, expectations and busy periods. Not everything comes naturally and not every week feels like a win. You see immediate results of what you do. And when something works out, it really feels like your success.
Why I work here
I work at Motivz because I can be myself here, because I am challenged and because the work matters. You help people advance in their careers and companies in their growth. That is satisfying.
Motivz isn't for everyone. And that's not necessary either. But if you love responsibility, pace and working with people who want to move forward, this is the place to be.
