In this role, you will accurately assemble high-tech sorting machines that are used worldwide in the food industry. Your work is essential for our machines to run smoothly — and therefore also for satisfied customers.

You will be working for an international manufacturer of sorting, inspection and transport systems for the food industry. As an Assembly Engineer, you are responsible for the assembly, adjustment and testing of mechanical and electrical parts of optical sorting machines. You work on the basis of technical drawings and quality guidelines and assemble complete machines as well as sub-assemblies. Your working day is varied and challenging: from setting up machines to carrying out checks on dimensions and finishing.

You work independently, but you are also a valuable link within a team of professionals. Together, you ensure that every machine goes out perfectly.

You are solution-oriented, accurate and have an affinity for technology. You also bring:

• A completed MBO course in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with reading technical and electrical diagrams (an advantage).
• In possession of or willing to obtain a forklift and hoisting certificate.
• Good command of the Dutch language, English is an advantage.
• You can work independently as well as in a team.
• Accuracy and a proactive attitude to work.
